The Hotels Sales and Cancellation Policy

PARAGRAPH 1 - DRAWING UP OF THE CONTRACT AND SALES CONDITIONS:

The contract only becomes binding once the hotel has debited the deposit. These deposits are as follows:
- For a group reservation: The sum of 30% of the total cost of the group’s stay
- For an individual reservation: The sum equivalent of one night’s stay
- A local tax of 1 euros per person and per night will be charged, a tax that benefits the local town
- The prices and conditions may be changed according to economic trends and operating requirements.


PARAGRAPH 2 – PRICES AND RATES:

Individual rates: Price and rates are available either at the hotel or on the hotel’s web site.


PARAGRAPH 3 - DEPOSIT:

The deposit can be paid by all means and the hotel reserves the right to demand a valid credit card number in order to guarantee the reservation. Except for special circumstances, the deposit paid will be deductible from the final bill. In the case that the guest does not pay a deposit or payment by credit card is refused. The room will not be guaranteed after 6pm the day of arrival.


PARAGRAPH 4 - MODIFICATION OF THE CONTRACT:

Any modification to the contract must be requested in writing by the guest. The hotel must also confirm its acceptance in writing. In case of disagreement, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the contract and to apply, if necessary, the penalties indicated in paragraph 6.


PARAGRAPH 5 - AVAILABILITY OF THE ROOMS:

The hotel agrees to make the rooms available to the guest from 3pm on the day of arrival. The rooms must be vacated by 12pm on the day of departure. The hotel agrees to look after the guest’s luggage in the case of late departure.


PARAGRAPH 6 - CANCELLATIONS:

In the case of cancellation by the guest:
- For a group : between 15 and 8 days before arrival, the deposit is refunded by the hotel (maximum 50%), if the cancellation is made later than 8 days before arrival the deposit will be kept by the hotel.
- For individuals: Up to 48 hours before 6pm the day of arrival, the deposit will be refunded by the hotel. If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before 6pm the day of arrival, the deposit will be kept by the hotel.


PARAGRAPH 7 - NO SHOW - CANCELLATION WITHOUT NOTICE:

In the case of no show or cancellation without notice, the hotel reserves the right to keep the deposit and to further bill the total charge to the guest for a maximum sum of two nights.


PARAGRAPH 8 - OBLIGATION OF THE HOTEL TOWARDS THE CLIENT:

In case of exceptional circumstances or unforeseen circumstances of a serious nature, the hotel reserves the possibility of accommodating, partially or totally, the guest in a nearby hotel in an equivalent category without extra cost. The cost of transfer will be covered by the hotel and the hotel cannot be requested to pay any sort of compensation. The hotel reserves the right to modify the services as well as the originally planned program of events in the case of unforeseen circumstances, in order to ensure the safety of the participants.


PARAGRAPH 9 - UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES OF A SERIOUS NATURE:

In case of unforeseen circumstances of a serious nature, unexpected events, unavoidable or unintentional, the party concerned must nevertheless inform the other party by any method possible in order to limit any potential damage.


PARAGRAPH 10 - PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

The bills are drawn up and payable in local currency. Except for special circumstances, the bills are payable on departure by the guest. In the case where special payment conditions have been granted to the guest, any delay in payment noticed by the hotel, even for just one installment, gives the hotel the right to:
- Cancel the contract and the special payment conditions that were initially granted. The hotel has the obligation to inform the guest by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Charge the guest penalties for late payment on the basis of one and a half times the legal rate of interest.
The cost of any procedures carried out by the hotel in order to recover payment are charged to the guest.


PARAGRAPH 11 - EXTRAS:

Any extras must be paid for at the cash desk of the hotel.


PARAGRAPH 12– ANIMALS:

Animals are not permitted in the hotel.


PARAGRAPH 13 - MULTIPLE RESERVATIONS:

The guest agrees not to make several reservations for the same stay with several hotels. Any non-respect of this rule gives the hotel the right to cancel the contract; no compensation may be sought by the guest.


PARAGRAPH 14 - CLAIMS

Any disputes or claims may only be taken into consideration if they are made in writing and sent by registered post to the hotel within 8 days maximum after departure by the guest.


PARAGRAPH 15 - AUTHORIZED BODY:

Any dispute which has not been settled amicably, concerning the validity, the interpretation, the execution of the present contract, will be submitted to the Perpignan Tribunal.
